P5D
Single-stage implant at tooth 1.2 using the IDR technique
A 49-year-old man with extensive bone loss and no buccal wall at 1.2. After extraction, curettage and cyst removal, a bone block and connective-tissue graft from the tuberosity were wedged into the buccal side (Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration) and a P5D implant was placed. A custom healing cap was made on an S15D-TH sleeve; at 3 months a zirconia crown on a titanium base was fixed.
